Brittany Bass is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of California, Irvine. Brittany received her M.A. in Economics from San Diego State University in 2014, and her B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Economics and Finance from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington in 2012. Brittany's research and teaching interests include public economics, labor economics, education, and health. In her primary research, she uses quasi-experimental methods to study the impact of state and local policies on student achievement and student health. She also has coauthored work examining the long-run effects of anti-poverty policies on disadvantaged neighborhoods.
